Handgun, Shotgun, and Archery

The morning portion of the shooting program(s) will be an open shoot in both pistol and skeet shooting with instruction where you can sharpen your skills and qualify to be your crew’s marksman. After lunch your crew’s marksman one for each shooting disciplines, will come back and represent your crew for points in a handgun bulls eye and a skeet shooting contest based on accuracy.

Handgun shooting activities

All pistol shooting activities will be supervised by a Camp Norse NRA -certified Pistol Instructors and when on the range, will be supervised by a Camp Norse NRA-certified Range Safety Officer. When on the range, there will be a ratio of no more than three shooters per instructor. The instructors will be close to the shooters for close supervision. The instructors must be supervised by the Range Safety Officer

Skeet shooting.

Skeet and shotgun shooting activities will be supervised by a Camp Norse NRA-certified Shotgun Instructor and when on the range, will be supervised by a Camp Norse NRA-certified Range Safety Officer.
